Since I was little I´ve always loved to draw. I just grabbed a writing tool and lines just started to come alive on the surface. Not only do I love 2-D designs but I also love digital graphic design. As I was young I was never taught to use technology (phones and computers) it was just an innate ability that surged through me. I wasn´t taught how to use photoshop, nor any adobe program, I just liked to experiment tools in my free time and I have come to realize that I love it. Graphic Design is part of my hobbies.
In Peru I used my skills to create the Innovation Academy Logo. In 5th grade my logo was elected to be printed on T-shirts for our Clean-Up project at the beach. I even created a logo for a CAS project were I was involved in improving and making publicity for a veterinary located in my district. Some time later I realized that that same logo I had created was now printed on big billboards around parks around the district. Finally one last project I used my design skills was in my 9th grade Personal Project were I designed an app to teach kindergarten kids about their Safety Unit, it was such a success, however the program I used wasn´t that great and it didn´t have the option to share it.
Moving to Guatemala has also given me the chance to continue my passion. At the American School of Guatemala I had the option to take a Graphic Design course, were I already knew the basics but still I have learned to use different tools and improve my style. I love this class because it has allowed me to follow my passion, to do something I like, always being open-minded to learn new techniques and I feel free to use my creativity and imagination.
